We often get asked “what are the differences between the spy pen types”.
The answer really is how long is a piece of string. As with all consumable electrical goods – there are improvements made on previous versions. The spy pen is no different. Early model spy pens were so appalling in their design and quality that they really failed to meet the expectations of the customer. Faults included the button breaking, recording not being made, faulty lights on the back of the pen and even the ink nibs not writing.
Two years after release, they are a completely different beast. Granted that there are models out there made to a low standard, but we do not buy or sell these. The main differences in the pens is internally – the size of the memory and the resolution. Frame rate is also a factor but even a low frame rate of 15 fps will capture the detail you need to trap a criminal when spying using the spy pen.
